Free Community Dinner/Concert

November 5, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We live on the Georgetown Divide in Northern California. Our whole community was affected by the Mosquito fire that began on Sept 6 north of Georgetown. The lengthy mandatory evacuation displaced thousands of residents and, sadly, over 30 families along Volcanoville Road lost their homes. Georgetown Fire Dept Station 63 was threatened. In response to the situation, St. James Society made the difficult decision to cancel the annual western barbecue and concert that had been scheduled for Oct 1.

The idea of hosting a community thank you dinner arose from the ashes. In our little community, emergency and fire personnel are held in high regard. St. James Society is planning the dinner as a way to reconnect with friends and community members and thank our local first responders. The event will raise funds for Georgetown Fire Dept.
  • FREE dinner features chili, cornbread, salad, dessert, and beverage
  • No-host bar
  • Music, of course!
  • 50/50 raffle
  • Silent auction
  • Door prizes
