DESCRIPTION:Due to recent storm damage and closures at Death Valley National Park\, the ’49ers encampment is moving to Amargosa Valley\, Nevada (east of DVNP). The goal remains the same\, to gather in memory of the 1849 pioneers and to preserve and protect the history and natural beauty of Death Valley. \nOld West Trio and Kristyn Harris are on tap for entertainment along with Blue Coyote and the Prune Juice Posse. Additionally\, the Coyote Howl informal talent show is a chance for all to participate. There will be history talks\, art and vendor shows\, and (given enough volunteers on hand) other programs and contests. \nHotel rooms\, full hookup RV sites\, and dry campsites are all available by calling the casino and asking for Ellen. Mention that you are coming for the Death Valley ’49ers Encampment. \nMemberships to the ’49ers are your all-events pass and are in lieu of tickets. Memberships can be purchased online or at the encampment. See www.deathvalley49ers.org. Volunteers are needed!
